BEGINNER YOGA
A class designed for the novice or those who want to go back to basics. An introduction to yoga, asanas and breathwork is covered.
YOGA / ALL LEVELS
A yoga class for all levels of experience from beginner through advanced, with modifications for beginner practitioners focusing on stretching and strengthening through asanas, or postures, and pranayama or breathing techniques.
VINYASA YOGA
A yoga class consisting of a flowing sequence of asanas or postures and pranayama or breathing techniques designed to stretch and strengthen. A basic knowledge of asanas is required.
PILATES
A matwork class based on the teaching of Joseph H. Pilates consisting of a series of exercises focusing on the core or the "powerhouse" of the body designed to stretch, strengthen and tone.
YOGA / PILATES FUSION
A challenging class designed to stretch, strengthen and tone through a dynamic blend of yoga, Pilates, and dance inspired moves.
BARRE YOGA
A method based on ballet barre work that uses isometric holds and small movements to stretch, shape and tone muscles to create the long, lean muscle tone of a dancer.
GENTLE YOGA
A gentler, slower-paced yoga class designed to de stress and re-juvenate through asanas or postures, breathing techniques and restorative postures for deep relaxation.
